ABOUT
Most people are very good at reading the room. What's expected, what's appropriate, how they're coming across. What gets practiced less is reading themselves.
This is a group for people who sense a disconnect between the life they're living and what the body is actually asking for. People navigating anxiety, tension that won't shift, a low-grade sense of being out of step with themselves. People who are functioning well by most measures and still feel, somewhere underneath it all, that they have drifted from something essential.
STRUCTURE
Four weeks. Introductory. No prior somatic experience needed. Each session includes psychoeducation, a somatic practice, and supportive conversation.
All groups are facilitated by a licensed therapist and are eligible to be covered by benefit programs.

THE JOURNEY
There is nothing surprising about this. We are primal organisms inside an extraordinarily demanding world — one that rewards performance, productivity, and self-monitoring, and rarely asks how any of it actually feels from the inside. The nervous system, ancient and precise, is trying to communicate through all of it. This group is about learning to hear it.
We begin with the central distinction the whole container rests on: the difference between self-consciousness — monitoring your exterior, managing how you appear — and self-possession, which is something quieter and more interior than that. Week two maps where stress actually lives in the body: not as a concept but as a felt geography, the jaw, the throat, the belly, the back body, the places most of us have learned to skip over. Week three works with a different quality of knowing, the kind the body touches before language arrives, and what it means to begin trusting it. Week four goes beneath the story — learning to follow sensation with patience rather than excavate it with force.
Each week includes simple lifestyle practices support to carry into the week between.

Something happens when pain becomes the thing you organize your life around — when you've been disbelieved, or believed but not helped, or helped but not enough. You learn to manage it. You get good at it. But somewhere in the managing, the body becomes the problem. The thing that limits, embarrasses, inconveniences. The thing you're constantly negotiating with, bracing against, apologizing for.
This group is for people who are ready to stop being at war with their bodies. Not to fix or transcend, but to come back into honest relationship with the vessel that's been carrying all of this — and to do that alongside people who understand what that really means.
STRUCTURE
Four weeks. Small group. Each session includes a somatic practice and simple lifestyle adjustments — nutrition, sleep, nervous system support — to carry into the week between. The inner work and the daily life inform each other. That's deliberate.

THE JOURNEY
We start with the body's own testimony: restoring the self-trust that chronic dismissal erodes, and learning to read what the body is actually communicating rather than bracing against it. Week two works with the stress-pain cycle: understanding the body's adaptations with curiosity rather than suspicion, and beginning to shift from control into listening. Week three makes room for grief — the real cost of this condition on intimacy, identity, and the life that had to quietly reorganize itself around symptoms. Week four turns toward a different kind of relationship with the body you actually have: honest, boundaried, and genuinely accompanied. We close with a ritual.

Healing From Past Relationships

Heartbreak is a body event. The obsessive replay. The reaching for your phone. The way a song or a smell can undo a whole day. The confusion of missing someone you know wasn't right for you. None of that is weakness. It's separation distress, the nervous system responding to the loss of attachment the same way it responds to any threat to survival. It's supposed to feel this bad. And it needs more than talk to move through.
This group is a four-week container for people who are ready to actually work with what the heartbreak broke open — not just survive it, but evolve with it. What it reactivated. What it's asking you to look at. What it might, eventually, clarify.

THE JOURNEY
We'll work with the body, with attachment patterns, with the younger parts that got caught in the crossfire. We'll make room for the anger and the craving and the shame without pretending those things aren't there. And we'll do it together, because there's something that becomes possible in the presence of other people doing honest work that no amount of solo processing can replicate.
We start with the shock and build from there. Week one stabilizes. We understand what heartbreak actually does to the nervous system and build a real first-aid plan for the hardest moments. Week two goes deeper into attachment: not as a label, but as a map of what got activated and why. Week three makes space for the messy middle — the anger, the bargaining, the return fantasies, the shame — without acting from any of it. Week four turns toward repair: relational standards, body-based discernment, and the question underneath all of it — what does the love I'm building now need to include?
Each session has structure and tools. Nothing is left floating.
