Emily is a Registered Social Worker with a background in addictions, personality disorders, PTSD, and perinatal/postpartum mental health. Emily works primarily with adults and youth. Emily draws on a variety of modalities and takes a trauma-informed, and solution focused approach to working with clients from all walks of life. Emily employs a combination of talk therapy and somatic therapy to support and empower clients, meeting them wherever they are in their therapy journey.

  • Whether this is a new journey or a returning one—welcome. I am a Registered Social Worker and Clinical Therapist providing trauma-informed therapy in Toronto and across Ontario. I have a background in addiction recovery, perinatal and postpartum mental health, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma related to domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and sexual assault.

    My approach is rooted in understanding, trust, and compassion, alongside a harm reduction framework. I work with individuals, couples, and families to support meaningful growth, emotional healing, and long-term change. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and move forward in a way that feels empowering and aligned with your goals.

    I integrate a combination of talk therapy and somatic-based approaches, including Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I take a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive approach and work with clients from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
