I am a Registered Social Worker providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapy to children, youth, and adults in Toronto. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, and complex life transitions.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered, grounded in strengths-based, anti-oppressive, and Africentric frameworks. As a Black woman and an immigrant, I bring both lived experience and clinical insight into the therapy space, with a deep understanding of cultural identity, systemic barriers, and the importance of inclusive, affirming care.
I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
