My practice is grounded in the belief that understanding our thoughts, emotions, and reactions is part of understanding what it means to be human. I completed my Honours Bachelor of Arts inCognitive Science specializing in Psychology, and my Master’s of Arts degree in Counselling psychology from Yorkville University. I welcome a broad range of individuals, youth, and couples in Toronto navigating PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression and mood difficulties, and life transitions and personal growth. I offer an authentic, warm, and non-judgemental space where clients can work alongside life’s challenges rather than against them. I integrate a range of evidence-based therapeutic practices to offer a safe, affirming, and supportive environment, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and trauma-informed, and somatic approaches.
I view therapy as a collaborative process that is adjusted based on each client’s needs, goals, identity, and lived experiences. My clients can expect a safe and supportive environment where we can explore patterns of behaviour together and develop strategies to build self-awareness and control. Healing begins not in becoming someone new, but in learning to attend, with honesty and compassion, to who we have been all along.
